Cookie Policy

This draft explains how InsureAhead currently uses cookies and similar browser technologies. Effective draft date: August 27, 2026.

Pre-launch draft. This page is a practical starting point and should be reviewed by qualified legal/privacy counsel before a public production launch.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small pieces of data stored by a browser. Similar technologies can include local storage, session storage, or tokens used to remember an authenticated session, protect an account, or keep an application working correctly.

2. Cookies we currently need

InsureAhead currently uses strictly necessary authentication and session technologies so users can sign in, remain signed in during an authorized session, and access the correct account and records. These technologies are necessary for the core service to function.

3. Analytics and advertising cookies

The current product is not intentionally configured with advertising cookies or behavioral-advertising trackers. Non-essential analytics or product-measurement tools may be added later, but they should not be enabled until their data practices are reviewed and any required notice, consent, or opt-out controls are implemented.

4. Third-party integrations

Future quoting, carrier, illustration, support, analytics, or application integrations may use their own cookies or similar technologies when a user interacts with those services. Their use should be disclosed here and in the Privacy Policy before production deployment when applicable.

5. Your browser controls

Most browsers allow users to block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary authentication/session technologies may prevent sign-in or cause parts of InsureAhead to stop working correctly.

6. Cookie banner / consent controls

A separate cookie-consent banner is not necessary merely because strictly necessary authentication technologies are used. If InsureAhead later adds non-essential analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies, the product should be reviewed for applicable consent and opt-out requirements before those technologies are enabled.

7. Changes to this policy

This policy should be updated whenever InsureAhead adds or materially changes cookies, analytics, tracking technologies, or third-party services that interact with the user's browser.
