Advertising & Compensation Disclosure

Information about promotional content, producer compensation, lead generation, and potential conflicts of interest. Effective August 31, 2026.

1. Software versus insurance solicitation

General educational content, product explanations, workflow prompts, software-generated comparisons, and Find an Agent compatibility results within InsureAhead are intended as decision-support and matching tools. They are not automatically an advertisement, solicitation, recommendation, or endorsement by InsureAhead for a particular insurance product or professional.

2. Find an Agent as a lead tool

Find an Agent may connect a Client who requests assistance with participating insurance professionals and can function as a lead-generation service. A Client chooses whether to select an Agent shown in the results. Professional eligibility, compatibility signals, recent exposure, recent selections, pending matches, and other rotation factors may affect default placement.

Unless expressly disclosed otherwise, an Agent is not shown more prominently merely because the Agent paid InsureAhead for placement.

3. Producer compensation

Insurance producers, agencies, brokerages, or other authorized entities may receive commissions, fees, bonuses, overrides, marketing support, or other compensation from insurers or distribution partners in connection with insurance transactions, where permitted by law and applicable agreements.

4. Compensation may vary

Compensation can vary by carrier, product, premium, policy type, persistency, production level, distribution arrangement, and other factors. A producer's compensation arrangement should not be assumed to be identical across products or carriers.

5. Recommendation obligations remain

Any producer using InsureAhead remains responsible for applicable suitability, best-interest, fiduciary, replacement, disclosure, documentation, and conflict-management obligations. Compensation or lead economics must not be allowed to override legal or professional duties owed to the consumer.

6. Sponsored, paid, or referral relationships

If InsureAhead later accepts lead-generation fees, referral compensation, sponsored placements, paid carrier promotion, affiliate compensation, paid prioritization, or other commercial consideration that could reasonably affect how content or Agent profiles are presented or ranked, that relationship will be clearly identified where required and this disclosure will be updated.

Commercial arrangements that do not affect matching rank may still be disclosed when required by law or when disclosure is appropriate to explain a potential conflict.

7. Asking about compensation

Consumers may ask their insurance professional how that professional is compensated in connection with a proposed transaction and whether compensation differs among the products or carriers being considered.

8. Related disclosure and questions

More information about matching is available in the Find an Agent & Matching Disclosure. Questions about InsureAhead's commercial relationships can be submitted through the Contact page. Questions about a specific producer's compensation should be directed to that producer or their firm.
